Major General Jassem Muhammad Al Marzouqui, Commander-in-Chief of the Civil Defense at the Ministry of Interior, led the UAE delegation to the meeting of the general directors of Civil Defense departments in GCC countries, which was held in Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on October 21st and 22nd.
The delegation included Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi; Colonel Sultan Saqr Al Suwaidi; Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Tikawi; Lieutenant Colonel Sami Khamis Al Naqbi, from the Directorate General of Civil Defense.
The UAE delegation took part in the discussions, which tackled topics related to unifying safety requirements, preventive supervision, and aspects of cooperation in the various fields of civil defense among GCC countries, in addition to ways to enhance collaborative relations between civil defense bodies in the GCC countries.
These meetings are in line with the keenness to develop work among GCC countries in various fields; and are based on the directives of Their Highnesses and Excellencies ministers of Interior in GCC countries.
