Moscow Interior and Design Week, held from October 28-31 at the Manege, attracted over 220,000 visitors and generated contracts worth a staggering 15.6 billion rubles.
The event featured products from more than 650 companies, with 30 international exhibitors hailing from countries like Belarus, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Peru, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. Visitors had the opportunity to explore a diverse array of offerings, including furniture, decor, textiles, lighting fixtures, tableware, and renovation materials. Additionally, a dedicated interior store housed over 100 brands, many offering enticing discounts.
A significant focus was placed on Moscow-based companies, with the "Made in Moscow" program showcasing 27 projects and over 150 products. These local businesses specialized in everything from large furniture items to construction materials and decor.
The exhibition was not just a showcase; it was a platform for business deals. In fact, 12 contracts were signed during the event, totaling a remarkable 15.6 billion rubles. These agreements involved companies from India, Iran, and the UAE, with notable projects, such as the Moscow Innovation Cluster Fund's partnership with Askona to develop a furniture cluster in the special economic zone Dobrograd-1, set to be one of Russia's largest.
Industry experts took the stage, sharing insights on renovation, decoration, lighting, room furnishing, and object design. The event's business program included nearly 100 themed sessions featuring over 120 international speakers, including renowned figures like German architect Daniel Dendra and former WeWork Vice President of Architecture, Michel Rojkind. Special guest Tomas Nevergreen, the Danish pop singer and Eurovision 2010 participant, added a touch of star power to the event.
