In a ceremony held in his office on Monday, Lt. H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed stressed the MoI’s commitment to developing and offering the finest services and advantages for its staff members, in order to achieve job satisfaction incentives for both the employees and their families, by catering to their needs and facilitating their livelihood. This gesture stems from the strong belief in their valuable role, and recognizes their essential contributions to the UAE and its people.
The “Fazaa” project is a pioneering initiative in social work. It constantly provides new supportive services to the MoI members and increasingly enhances economic cooperation between the ministry and the public and private sectors. This would guarantee the welfare of the public and promotes competition between suppliers and partners, and would create additional incentives and opportunities to bring happiness to the MoI’s staff members and their families.
In his statement during the ceremony, Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, stressed that the project embodies the MoI’s strategy to become an optimal work environment conducive to solidarity, and to remain an attractive workplace for the various professional national cadres.
Major General Dr. Al Nuaimi also noted that the Social Solidarity Fund for the employees of the Ministry of Interior has created a customized website for the project on http://www.fazaa.ae. This interactive website provides employees with the necessary information about the project’s objectives and special features. “The project includes a wide range of tailor-made services, including no interest loan schemes with repayment facilities, in addition to discounts programs and unique promotions, personal accident insurance, car insurance with competitive prices, rent-to-own car service, and financial coverage for medical treatment abroad.”
He also pointed out to the police leadership’s keenness at the Ministry of Interior to activate the role of the Fund and develop its resources to guarantee distinguished services to the ministry’s staff members. He noted that the Fund aims at enhancing the spirit of solidarity and social cohesion, achieving cooperation between members to reduce the financial burdens they may face, and provide social and health services for them and their families.
Major General Dr. Al Nuaimi also noted that enhancing and developing the level of solidarity services is a priority for the Fund. To this end, it endeavored to achieve partnerships and sign agreements with national institutions and companies to provide distinguished services to the MoI staff members for minimal fees and affordable conditions. He also explained that the added value of such partnerships lays in the fact that they are collective agreements that encourage companies to provide their best services.
Adding further, he noted that providing distinguished services for the MoI staff members requires continuous work, with the aim of developing and diversifying the Fund’s activities and the solidarity services it provides, as well as improving the Fund’s performance as it seeks to implement further plans and projects. This would promote the Fund’s social and humanitarian role and offer world-class services that aim to benefit the employees of the Ministry of Interior. He also announced the approval of a set of new activities and events that will contribute to boosting the Fund’s resources and allow it to continue providing distinguished services and attain its coveted goals. .
