Security Media Showcases Falcon Bike

On opening day of the 2015 Tawdheef recruitment exhibition for UAE nationals, the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters conducted 300 immediate interviews with job seekers wishing to join the police institution. The exhibition, which kicked off on Monday at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), will continue for three days and concludes on Wednesday.
Brigadier Obeid Belhubalah Al Ketbi, Head of the Selection and Recruitment Department at Abu Dhabi Police, affiliated to the Directorate General of Human Resources, said: “In line with its commitment to attract top local staff members, the police leadership participates at Tawdheef, to support its emiratisation efforts and recruit more highly qualified and skilled Emirati men and women.”
Adding further, Brigadier Al Ketbi noted that the exhibition allows the police institution to familiarize job seekers with the available job opportunities to cater to the institution’s workforce needs. He also indicated that a specialized committee from the Selection and Recruitment Department will conduct on-site interviews with job aspirants over the course of three days.
Brigadier Al Ketbi continued: “At the Abu Dhabi Police pavilion at the exhibition, a team from the Ports and Airports Security Department at the Directorate General of Security and Ports Affairs provides job seekers and graduates with a detailed overview of the available vacancies at the department.” Furthermore, the Security Media Department displayed the famous Falcon Bike (Al Saqr), which attracted a significant number of visitors; the Security Inspection Department (K9) sniffer dogs’ shows are scheduled for the second day of the exhibition.
