CipherONE® best-in-class protection is cost-effective, simple to deploy and manage, and supports broad network requirements
CONCORD, Mass - Tuesday, June 4th 2013 [ME NewsWire]
(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Technical Communications Corporation (NasdaqCM: TCCO) launches its Cipher X® 7211 IP encryptor with KEYNET IP Manager, providing superior-grade security for data in transit, with a unique combination of scalability, performance, flexibility and ease of use for maximum cost efficiencies over broad network requirements, including multicast applications. Download photos, view video.
John Maher, director of Engineering and Product Development at TCC, said, “The innovative design of the Cipher X 7211 makes adding, managing and upgrading comprehensive communications security easy and cost-effective regardless of network topology and requirements, media or application. Securing data in transit is a critical component of a cybersecurity strategy.”
CipherONE Optimized Network Encryption
The Cipher X 7211 is a tunneless, Layer 3/4 solution, which overlays on existing or new networks — no changes to network architecture. It has wire-speed performance, does not degrade network performance, and supports wide-ranging network configurations and security requirements with a robust security policy engine.
Scalable performance from 100Mb/s to 1Gb/s is available on demand without changing hardware.
“Our performance licensing model provides investment protection and a cost-effective path to meet evolving business needs. All performance levels interoperate and have identical functionality,” added Maher.
KEYNET provides centralized key and device management. With a hardware-based security vault, simple configuration, intuitive user interface and automated polling of alarms and logs, a network expert is not required to manage network security.
The Cipher X 7211 is a FIPS 140-2 Level-3 designed, hardware-based encryption appliance in an anti-tamper, rack-mountable enclosure using three-tier symmetric key management with AES 256-bit algorithm. National algorithms can be easily integrated without hardware modification. Contact TCC Sales: +1-978-287-6229, tccinfo@tccsecure.com.
