DMS Adds Zee Network’s “Weyyak” To Its Portfolio of Leading Video-On Demand Platforms

DMS - the digital arm of Choueiri Group - recently announced their latest appointment as the Exclusive Media Representatives for “Weyyak” – Zee Network’s premium Arab audience focused streaming Video-on-Demand (VOD) platform.

The partnership, which became effective in October 2018, gives DMS the exclusive rights to extend advertising sales and opportunities on Weyyak. The tie-up will focus on getting regional brands and advertisers to leverage the platform’s fullest potential as a highly effective advertising and communications platform.

Zee is the Media and Entertainment arm of Essel Group, with Zee Network presence in 176 countries, reaching out to over a Billion viewers globally with over 90+ channels. As part of its global digital transformation strategy to expand its entertainment services and to provide the best viewing experience for Arab audiences, Zee Entertainment launched Weyyak in 2017.

The platform’s Arabic name “Weyyak” translates to “With You” in English and clearly spells out the spirit of the service – A trusted video entertainment hub and companion to its users, which delivers the ultimate in video entertainment wherever they are and at all times.

Featuring a full HD video streaming service a uniquely designed user interface and exceptional user experience, Weyyak enables users to watch a wide variety of premium content, focused on Indian series, shows and movies all dubbed into Arabic, in addition to top Arabic dramas from Egypt, Syria and the Gulf. The platform is also committed to premiering exclusive content that has never before aired in the Middle East (on TV or the Internet). Examples include especially customized Webisodes), which give online audiences short 10 min duration episodes of handpicked titles.
